Amanda Coorough (she/her), MSW, ICS, is a compassionate practitioner with over 28 years of experience driving behavioral health initiatives across rural and underserved communities. Amanda has built a career rooted in service, innovation, and collaboration—leading multi-state projects, securing high-impact funding, and designing inclusive training programs that empower professionals in substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health fields.
Amanda has a lot of experience working with children and families, and also enjoys working with adults. Amanda enjoys working with present and former military personnel, likes to do parenting skills work, advocacy within schools and IEP work, connecting people to community resources, suicide prevention. She is experienced in working with people with trauma and PTSD symptoms and is skilled in helping clients develop coping skills to manage trauma and facilitate recovery.
Her work spans roles in social work, curriculum development, and project management. Amanda is known for her ability to blend digital innovation with trauma-informed practices, increasing accessibility and workforce capacity while fostering community resilience.
Amanda holds a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Psychology from UW–Stout. She is a Certified Independent Social Worker, a Mental Health First Aid Trainer, and a Project Management Professional. Her leadership has been recognized with multiple awards, and she continues to serve on boards and volunteer with organizations that uplift families and communities.

Individual and Family Psycho-education
Individual Skill Development and Enhancement
Individual Skill Development and Enhancement (ISDE) with Hope Inspired, for up to 12 hours per month, could include teaching, modeling, training and practice in communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, decision-making, self-regulation, conflict resolution, and other specific needs identified in your service plan. Services may also include training in daily living skills related to personal care, household tasks, financial management, transportation, shopping, parenting, accessing and connecting to community resources and services (including health care services), and other specific daily living needs identified in your service plan.
Services provided to minors also focus on improving integration into and interaction with the minor’s family, school, community, and other social networks. Services include assisting the minor’s family in gaining skills to assist the minor with individual skill development and enhancement.
