What Is Telehealth?

Telehealth refers to providing services between a provider and client that are not in the same physical location (not face-to-face or in person). Telehealth services are provided through electronic technology such as telephone, videoconferences, and more. 

At Hope Inspired, confidentiality is our top priority. We use specific HIPAA-compliant platforms for all appointments. We ask that clients ensure they have a stable internet connection and find a space that is private and comfortable in order to be fully immersed.

It allows clients and staff to stay safe and protect their health and the health of their loved ones and communities. It provides opportunities for people with transportation barriers. It can also give you more options to choose from when looking for a provider that fits your specific needs. Telehealth can also allow individuals to feel “safer” because it allows the client to pick a familiar environment of their choosing to discuss challenging topics. You can also cuddle up at home with some coffee and your favorite pet!
